Google Meet is a tool for your teacher can set it up for you to connect with others online, even if you’re far away. It’s allows you to have a video call using your Chromebook. You can see each other’s faces, hear each other’s voices, and even share your screen. It’s a great way to learn and work together, even when you’re not in the same room.
Today in food tech my class made crepes, the first thing we did was make the mixture. Then we fried them and decorated them.
In room 7 we learnt about the olympic torch run and how long its been on for. Miss Cheng had us find the tourches for each year they held the olympics, My favourite tourch is the mexico city tourch.
For cybersmart we learnt how to use the polyline to make mountians.
On Monday, room 6 & 7 went to Te Oro in Glen Innes. In the morning around 20 past 11, we walked down to Te Oro. When we were still at school the teachers put us into 3 groups, one group for each workstation. Once we got to Te Oro we all walked in and sat on the floor outside of the room. After a few minutes of waiting, group 1 got to take their shoes off first, then the rest of the groups. When we all took our shoes off we had to stand at the door while the leaders greeted us into the room. Once the leaders had finished the introduction and talking to us we got to go to our workstations. I was in the first workstation making stars out of Harakeke, We got 4 pieces of Harakeke and started to make the stars. Matariki means alot to me because it gives me time to spend with my family.
